If you find your lucky self traveling in the majestic White Mountains of New Hampshire and need a respite, you’ll enjoy a warm welcome and stay at Hampton Inn & Suites North Conway! The whole family will love the visit and probably won’t want to leave.

North Conway

New Hampshire is filled with natural beauty and Hampton Inn & Suites North Conway is smack dab in the middle of it. Located at 1788 White Mountain Highway it is nestled along the strip of famous North Conway shopping at Settlers Green Outlet Village, a variety of different restaurants (including Merlino’s Steakhouse, a local landmark), not to mention being in close proximity to family favorites like Santa’s Village and Story Land, plus it’s surrounded by a gorgeous landscape.

After a long day of tax-free shopping, eating, hiking, or sight-seeing, the inviting lobby of Hampton Inn & Suites is a welcome retreat. A friendly, helpful hello and easy check-in at the front desk (complete with a plate of complimentary cookies) sends you to a comfortable room with every amenity you might require. The front desk even calls your room after a few minutes to make sure you are settled in and don’t need anything additional.

When you’re traveling with the kids in tow, there are certain things you really hope you’ll find in your hotel room. Hampton Inn & Suites North Conway checks everything off on my list:

extra blankets

free wi-fi

a mini-fridge

lots of extra towels

AND easily accessible and multiple charging ports for mobile devices!

And, they even throw in some extras…like playing a free kid’s movie on tv at a set time every night. My kids were thrilled to cuddle up with a complimentary hot cocoa after a long day to a favorite film, Rio 2. They were tuckered out and slept like rocks. As a Mom, I totally appreciate this especially when we’re staying in an unfamiliar place.

Hampton Inn & Suites knows how to host families on the road. The most intriguing aspect of our stay was the attached indoor water park.

Yes, this definitely helped tire the kids out and gave them something amazing to do instead of being stuck in a room with their siblings (i.e. bicker, whine, bicker). Access to the waterpark is included with your room and there are plenty of towels too. All you need to bring is your swimsuit!

With 5,000 square feet of waterpark fun literally attached to the hotel, our family had a blast. There are two large slides, the two smaller slides, a kiddie pool, and even a hot tub for the grown-ups! We were greeted by a helpful and informative hotel staff member who took the time to explain the safety rules directly to the kids (and who kept an eye on everyone enjoying the water fun). I really appreciated that he addressed the kids and outlined the expectations in the waterpark with them before we let them loose.

After almost 2 hours of swimming and sliding, we were ready to crash out. A quick elevator ride and brief walk down the hall, we were tucked in our room for the night.

After a great sleep, we woke up rested and ready for a new day…which was off to a great start with our hot breakfast!

Not only was there a waffle station complete with butter, syrup, and whipped cream, but we had our choice of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurts, and oatmeal. Needless to say, we left the continental breakfast with full bellies.
