Promote Campfire Safety with Open Season: Scared Silly #SmokeyBearHug

Open Season: Scared Silly

Elliot and Boog are back in this fourth installment in the Open Season film series! During a round of campfire tales Boog (who has never been the bravest bear) gets even more spooked by a monster story that Elliot tells. Of course, Elliot always has a plan and decides to help Boog by “scaring the fear” out of him! Thus begins a journey of friendship and overcoming fear with tons of laughs along the way!

This new movie is packed with laughs, beloved characters and heart, Open Season: Scared Silly is a must-own for the entire family! Bring home this hillarious adventure on March 8th!

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) and Sony Pictures Animation have joined forces with the Ad Council, the U.S. Forest Service, the National Association of State Foresters, the National Forest Foundation (NFF) and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) to help raise awareness for Smokey Bear’s national wildfire prevention campaign, using #SmokeyBearHug. OPEN SEASON: SCARED SILLY stars Boog & Elliot received a hug from Smokey Bear this weekend for promoting campfire safety, kicking off a nation-wide program teaching youth from the Boys and Girls Club of America how to safely build, manage and put out a campfire. For every Boys & Girls Club youth member participating, SPHE will donate a tree to be planted by the National Forest Foundation (NFF) to replace those lost during natural disasters such as wildfires, and insect and disease outbreaks. For more information on Smokey and his wildfire prevention campaign
