I spend a lot of time outdoors, when I can. Living in Maine, there are often days when you just can’t be outside this time of year. Old Man Winter brings below freezing temps, snow and ice, hence,  some crazy bouts of cabin fever and a constant stream of cold and flu viruses. To keep the lock down fever and sickness at bay, I use an essential oil diffuser. Aromatherapy is also referred to as Essential Oil therapy, and is considered the art and science of using naturally extracted plant essences to maintain and promote physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. Using the TOTU Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Diffuser allows for a natural, non-invasive method to benefit our whole being, not just symptoms or disease. It’s a great way to assist our own body’s natural ability to wholly balance, regulate, heal, and maintain. Plus, it smells amazing.

The TOTU essential oil diffuser is a compact unit that uses Ultrasonic waves to instantly vaporize water and essential oils into the air with a cool, dry, and fragrant mist. The unit includes 3 pieces, the base, a cover, and a water measuring cup.

Simply removing the cover and pouring water into the base (to the MAX fill line) and adding some some of your favorite essential oil drops is all you need to do.

Replacing the cover with a twist to lock it in place allows the diffuser to run.

The plug is located under the base, tucked in so the diffuser sits flat and stable. There are only two buttons to operate…a light and a mist control. You can choose what color you want to illuminate the diffuser by pressing the light button or you can let it revolve through the color spectrum. You also control the amount of mist you want, again by pressing the button.

The TOTU essential oil diffuser works really well and is a great place to start for those who are new to Aromatherapy!

I love that this diffuser provides a good stream of mist and creates a pleasantly noticeable (but not overbearing) atmosphere. Depending on my mood, I can add whatever essential oil I want; lavender to relax before bed, orange for uplifting inspiration during working hours, or vanilla for balance at the end of a long day. The constant stream of colors adds to the mood creating concept behind this diffuser. One of the best features of this diffuser is that the unit turns off when it runs out of water.

Are you ready to relax in 2016? Get your TOTU Ultrasonic Diffuser and enjoy the physical and emotional benefits of adding some Aromatherapy to your life!
