This year Back To School
is going to be literally just that. All 3 of my girls will be in school full time. They’ve gotta have the best backpack for back to school!
My youngest will be headed off to Kindergarten which means a full day of school for her and a new, quiet schedule for me (being home without kiddos for the first time in almost 12 years). My daughter is over the moon excited. I’m tied between being excited for her and a little bit sad for me. I’m pretty sure I’ll have a tweak of Empty Nest Syndrome.
It’s no surprise my kiddo can’t wait to ride the big school bus, go to library, gym, music, and art, learn new things everyday and make new friends. She’s ready to be just like her big sisters and make her own way. To get me through what I think might be a little bit of an emotional rollercoaster for me, I’ve focused on making sure she has everything she’ll need for a stellar start to the school year.
Kindergarten doesn’t require a whole lot of school supplies, but there are definitely a few necessities. Along with the pencils, crayons, carrying case, and folders, I know she’ll need a quality backpack and lunch box set
. She needs to be able to tote her belongings to school and back without a lot of fuss and without her backpack weighing her down. Being a Disney Frozen fanatic, she just had to have this Frozen backpack
complete with a matching, detachable lunch box!
This backpack has adjustable padded shoulder straps that make wearing it comfortable and the polyester fabric allows for easy cleaning. It comes with one large zippered pocket that slides easily, without any hitching. It opens into a good sized backpack (16″) making tons of space for library books, important notes from the teacher, and precious arts and crafts! I love that it has a mesh pocket on either side to stash a water bottle and the lunch box is the perfect size to pack her favorite lunch. Being able to access her lunch without getting into the backpack is perfect. My 5 year old can peel back the velcro straps by herself to take just her lunch with her to the cafeteria. It has a durable zipper and a soft fabric carrying handle too.
The Disney Frozen characters are illustrated on both the backpack and lunch box and the design is spot on. My Kindergartener will be ready for everything school has to offer with Anna and Elsa on her new Disney Frozen
backpack! Got a Frozen fan? They will NEED this backpack for Back To School! It’s available on Amazon.com for $18.99 (which is a nice price for a character licensed backpack and lunch box) and ships free with Amazon Prime.
