Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Enter to win a $25 Walmart gift card (+Crest, Bounty, Oral B, Olay, Pantene, Swiffer Duster goodies)

breastcancer ga

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

I support Breast Cancer Awareness because no woman deserves to fight that battle. My husband’s aunt who has been like a second mother to me was diagnosed a year ago. She is now in remission but it has been tough physically and emotionally. Her strength and courage endure and she is proving how strong she is by handling this obstacle with such grace and integrity. Having this happen to someone I love immediately made Breast Cancer Awareness a priority for me.

Swiffer supports Breast Cancer Awareness by partnering with Cleaning for a Reason, an organization that works with more than 1,000 local and professional maid services to bring meaning to cleaning by helping women focus their energy on fighting cancer. Since 2006, the partner maid services have volunteered their time to clean for over 17,000 women. They offer four cleanings to women with any cancer, once a month for four months.

Swiffer has created pink products, which you can pick up at Walmart. Or you can win them in this great giveaway hosted by Drugstore Divas and A Bride On A Budget. Two lucky winners will win a prize pack with a $25 Walmart gift card, plus items from Crest, Bounty, Oral B, Olay and Pantene, as well as a Swiffer Duster.

This giveaway starts now and ends at 11:59pm EST on October 13. To enter, you must be a US resident who is 18 or older. The winner(s) will be contacted via email and will have 24 hours to respond before another winner is selected.

  1. Thanks for the giveaway…this cause is important to me because I’ve personally spent 6 years of my life taking care of two family members who had cancer. I saw first hand what patients and survivors go through, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

Why is Breast Cancer Awareness month important to me? Breast cancer is important to me because my grand mother and my aunt died from breast cancer. So yes it is a touchy topic for me. I am over 50 and am always concerned for myself as well as the rest of my family.
