I love chalkboards. It might have something to do with the fact that my Mom was a 5th grade teacher (back when dry erase boards were non-existent) and I spent quite a bit of time in her classroom (weekends, school and summer vacations). Being able to instantly and easily write whatever you wanted on this big black board…and then erase it  later was hugely appealing. I love the feel and look of chalk and prefer white to any other color. Back then, I didn’t even mind the chore of banging the erasers behind the school.

I can enjoy that same primary school look of white chalk on black board without the chalk dust, smudges, or broken chalk pieces! MagicMIL is a liquid chalk pen that writes seemlessly on black cutout stickers…without any of the mess! These chalkboard labels are decorative and utilitarian! I’ve thought of dozens of different places to use them! My favorite spots are on my canisters! While I can obviously tell the difference between flour, sugar, and coffee…I love the artful look of these easy-to-use labels! I found it easiest to apply light pressure while writing with the liquid chalk pen and even went over it a second time to get a thicker line (just my preference).  After waiting a few minutes to allow it to dry thoroughly, I peeled the label off the sheet starting at an edge while bending the sheet. It peeled off easily and I applied it to my canisters without any issues. No bubbles, no super-sticky fingers! And, you can use a lightly damp cloth to easily remove any chalk writing if you want to change the wording on your label!

Got the perfect project for these “Write on, Wipe off” labels? They make for adorable nameplates at showers, weddings. or reunions! Ready to get organized? Label boxes and jars with a personalized touch! Freezer and dishwasher safe, you won’t have to worry about peeling!
