Cheeseburger Pie is an easy one-dish meal to make (especially if you use a premade pie crust). You can serve with french fries and a tossed salad or coleslaw for great family meal!
  • 1 pie shell, frozen or homemade, unbaked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning or Mrs. Dash
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp mustard (regular, gourmet, or Dijon)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar or sharp cheddar cheese
  • sliced tomatoes, optional
  1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl whisk eggs with mustard, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Stir into the cooled ground beef mixture and add about ½ cup of the cheese.
  5. Pour into the pie shell and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Top with the sliced tomatoes, if desired, then sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes longer, until cheese is melted.
  8. Enjoy!
