I’m partial to dresses. I like the freedom that comes with not having my legs or waist restricted by tight or confining fabrics. I feel more comfortable, more feminine in dresses. This feeling is ten fold when I’m pregnant.
Back in July, 2006, I was pregnant with my second daughter. My due date was the 29th. I’m eternally grateful she decided to come a full 11 days early. By July 18th, I had had enough of being pregnant…it was humid, hot, and all around miserable. My favorite outfit to wear by that point was a towel. 🙂

I wish I knew about the trendy maternity clothes from PinkBlush Maternity! I am absolutely in love with their Maxi Dresses! They offer a multitude of different designs including prints, florals, solids, and patterned. Maternity clothes should be comfortable and fashionable and PinkBlush maternity clothing is just that!

I was feeling daring and chose their simple Light Blue Bohemian Maternity Maxi Dress. Strapless, I was worried I’d be hiking up the top constantly. I’m thrilled to report that was not the case at all. The elastic band does a great job of keeping the dress top exactly where it is supposed to stay. It’s not restrictive, but does a great job of supporting the extra “weight” up top!

Now truth be told, I’m not even pregnant right now (and have no plans to be) and yet I have been wearing this Maxi Dress often and I’ve been complimented every time! I explain it’s from PinkBlush Maternity and people are floored that this dress is considered maternity. I love the soft fabric, gentle elastic, and overall comfort of this dress and highly recommend anyone to check out their surprisingly affordable line-up of maternity clothes. Be sure to share this amazing find with your pregnant (and non-pregnant) friends! They will be so appreciative!
