With just 3 simple ingredients you can make your own exfoliating scrub. And your legs will feel so soft and smooth, you’ll swear off any future trips to the professionals!
Silky Smooth Summertime Legs
1 1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup oil (I used coconut oil, but you can use baby oil, canola oil, or even honey)
3 tbsp citrus (lemon or lime juice)
*Mix the ingredients together in a bowl. Soak your legs in warm water for 5 minutes (or more if the kids won’t bother you). Shave your legs…you may need a couple of disposable razors because they are going to become dull quickly with all the dead skin and dirt. Massage the mixture into your skin. I rubbed it in especially well at all my “dry” spots…knees, ankles, heels. Rinse and then shave again. I used one disposable razor per leg…that’s how dull they got! Reapply the mixture to your legs and rub! Rinse again. You may want to use a dollop of liquid soap to cut the oily feel.
Towel dry and then apply your favorite lotion. You will have the silkiest, softest legs ever! Enjoy!
